I want to be part of this blog because I love to write. I write letters to my kids as they grow and will one day give them all to them when they graduate from high school or go off to college. I work on short stories and even novels; working to improve my craft and maybe one day I'll find my way to being published. But that's not my end goal - my writing is how I feel my way through understanding things that don't make sense to me. It's how I most effectively convey my thoughts and ideas. It's something I can leave behind to make my small, insignificant mark on the world that may somehow turn out to be not so insignificant.

Most of the background noise came from strangers pontificating or sneering at each other. But every so often - snap! - you could hear an online friendship breaking as two people fell out over the subject of Lady T.
