Frisco's Economic Development Corp. and Community Development Corp. will pay a combined $45 million for the buffer land surrounding the plant operations. Exide will retain ownership of the remaining property. The EDC land, which is along the Dallas North Tollway,Michael Kors Outlet, is expected to be sold and developed as office space, while the CDC's portion could be used for municipal courts, parks and recreation buildings, or fire training facilities.
